I joined the Princeton philosophy department in 2017. My research is in metaethics (including philosophy of law), philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, and formal logic, especially deontic and default logic. Before coming to Princeton, I completed a JD at the University of Chicago Law School, where I received the Casper Platt Award (2013) for the best paper by a graduating student, for an essay on the relationship between metaethical expressivism and legal positivism.
